Strategic Sounds presents SOUL HEALING drum and bass party at Bassment
On Friday 30 August at Bassment, Strategic Sounds brings you a night of soul healing. Immerse yourself in the sounds of pure drum 'n' bass.
Phaeton . .
With consistently rolling bass lines, Phaeton has established himself as a mainstay in the Hong Kong drum 'n' bass scene. Having shared the stage with JCC, DJ Dragon and Joe Nice; as well as Zuju, Tarqeeb, Joe Syntax and Pedestrian, his eclectic sound can be heard regularly at Heavy, Magnetic Soul and Sessions HK nights.
Mz Kishi . .
The UK Jungle and hardcore Breakbeat sound lay the foundation to her musical direction, but a move to Hong Kong as well as a change in the times shifted and cemented her passion for drum 'n' bass. She has worked alongside Heavy and shared the stage with Joe Syntax and Lenzman.

Bones . .
BONES loves drum 'n' bass!
Having founded the industrial building-based music venue - Strategic Sounds, and as a member of the experimental band Afterdoom (https://www.facebook.com/afterdoomhk), Sert is certainly no stranger to the local underground scene. His influences range from band music, electronic dance music to experimental sounds. Liquid drum 'n' bass is his specialty, though he doesn't shy away from heavier sounds.
He recently supported Enei as well as Lenzman. You can catch him working alongside Hong Kong's bass heavyweights - Heavy HK, Magnetic Soul, Sessions HK and Strategic Sounds.

-About Strategic Sounds-
Strategic Sounds is a Kwun Tong (East Kowloon) based independent art and music development unit. Since its establishment in Winter 2011, Strategic Sounds has held over 50 events in an array of different artistic forms. Experimental sound, live band performances, deeper underground electronic music and independent film screenings have all found its way to this open platform.
As of 2013, Strategic Sounds has started concentrating its energies towards the promotion of quality music for otherwise desolate dance floors. ; )
